Paul played in the Portugal Masters at the Oceanico Victoria Golf Course in Vilamoura and finished in a tie for 26th. He shot rounds of 70, 69, 68 and 68 which left him on a four round total of thirteen under par.

ISM stablemate Lee Westwood took the Portugal Masters title by two shots from Italy's Francesco Molinari - Lee finished on twenty three under par and is now at the head of affairs in the European Tour Race to Dubai.

Paul now moves on to Valencia in Spain where he plays in the Castello Masters Costa Azahar which begins on Thursday.
